Picked up a lot of things from J.Crew the last few weeks or so. Decided to list a few of the good buys that are getting a lot of rotation in the closet.
pants — high-waisted skinny cords, can’t say enough good things about them. Thin wale, great color, slimming. Caveats — petites must hem. All colors are great.
sweaters — cotton waffle pullover had mixed reviews but the key is sizing down to minimize the problems. Bought backups since I wear them everywhere and with everything. Heather chalk is the fave, but all colors have merits. Picked up the notorious wynter sweaters and chainlink sweater in stripe for inexpensive ways to get good fall colors. Love the swing sweater (which is more expensive but worth it)
space-dyed items — love the cardigan in both colors, jaspe tee in gray only.
dresses — best buy is fabiola dress in abstract leopard. maritime is the miss congeniality of the group — everyone likes it. jules dress in fanfare is probably my favorite irrespective of price. But Anthropologie has a lot of choice right now with better prices and more interesting dresses and skirts. J.Crew’s tinsil skirt was the best buy and super versatile but suprisingly no one was interested. Its a beautiful skirt in person.
shirts — sundowner tunic in engineered stripe is the only one out there currently worth buying. Though there are good options at Levi’s (some plaid options) and Eddie Bauer (railroad stripe vintage shirt).
tees — none are must haves except for the leopard tank which goes with everything. Preferred the eyelet tank in chili and lace pintuck tee. Madewell has a better selection but prices are typically higher.
office — silk marlice blouse, valentinas in walnut animal print, no. 2 pencil in medallion paisley. no availability on any blazers unfortunately.

Prints and implementation in order of personal preference
Group A favorites [heart throb, wildcat, ashbury floral, medallion paisley (skirt)]
Group B depends on implementation and price [paintbox floral (cardigan), abstract leopard (skirt), gardenshade, sovereign paisley, fanfare (dress, popover shirt cardigan)]
